  • DONG Energy – Technical and Environmental Vendor Due diligence of Nysted Havmøllepark Project New York
    Extensive Vendor DD on both technical issues (wind resource evaluation, O&M, technology evaluation, performance) and environmental issues (permitting, noise/complaints, OHS/safety, end-of-life costs) of Nysted Havmøllepark. The asset is the world’s second largest off-shore wind farm with 72 turbines and a generating capacity of 165 MW. DONG Energy successfully divested 50% of the asset to Pension Danmark.
  • Global 2007-2011: >20 Danfoss acquisitions and divestitures
    Environmental and occasionally Technical Due Diligence on more than 20 transactions involving metal working production sites in more than 30 countries on all continents except Antarctica. Services have included phase 1, 2 and 3 EDD, counselling on exit strategies, participation in SPA drafting/evaluation and image defense in Environmental areas.
  • Netherlands 2011: Vendor Environmental Due Diligence Sale of Inalfa Roof Systems Group
    One of the key producers of sun roofs for vehicles, has been sold to China's State owned company Beijing Hainachuan Automotive Parts Company (BHAP). Tauw was environmental due diligence provider at three stages: during the acquisition by AAC Capital, formerly ABN AMRO Capital in 2002, during the refinancing in 2007, and during the exit in 2011. The investigations included site assessments in the Netherlands (HQ), UK, US, Italy, Brazil, China, Slovakia and Korea. The client described our work as follows: "Overall a very robust and cost effective approach".
